Funding: Round five of Welsh Government’s Wales and Africa grant scheme is open!

Applications are now open for Welsh Government’s flagship initiative enabling organisations across Wales to access funding for projects which contribute to Wales’ delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

They are seeking applications from groups with the passion and determination to help contribute towards the scheme goals, making a real difference to the communities they reach.

The Finance Committee has published its report on Welsh Government’s 2020-21 Draft Budget.

WCVA issued a written consultation response and attended a scrutiny session to give oral evidence. Following this, we are pleased to agree with several of the Committee’s recommendations and give them our support.

This month property advice charity the Ethical Property Foundation launches its 5th Survey of voluntary organisations’ property issues.

The Ethical Property Foundation (EPF) was set up in 2004 to serve the UK voluntary sector with expert, independent free property training and advice.

The Young England and Wales Programme aims to improve communication skills, inspire confidence, and broaden intellectual horizons of people in the early years of their careers. As part of our commitment to encouraging and developing young people active in the third sector, they wish to invite young employees, interns or volunteers to apply for a FREE place in our February 2020 event (Tuesday 25th to Friday 28th).
