The Artemis Charitable Trust Grants

The Artemis Charitable Foundation makes donations primarily in four key areas: health, education, poverty, the environment. They give grants to UK-registered charities operating both in the UK and internationally.

They make one-off donations but, where they build successful partnerships with charities, they also give multi-year grants. Generally, they give initial grants of between £1,000 to £10,000. Donation amounts can increase if a partnership develops into a multi-year relationship. They are happy to consider providing unrestricted funding.

Who can apply

They give grants to UK-registered charities operating both in the UK and internationally.

They give preference to small- and medium-sized charities, tending to donate to those with an income of less than £2 million per annum. They prioritise organisations that are doing something different and projects that are sustainable and can be scaled up/replicated.

How to apply

Their Trustees meet at the end of each month to consider applications. To be considered for funding, please provide them with:

  • a covering letter

  • a brief proposal (ideally no more than 2-3 pages) containing an overview of your organisation’s work and funding priorities

  • basic financial information on your organisation, including a summary of income and expenditure activity from your latest annual accounts

Please submit all funding applications to charitablefoundation@artemisfunds.com
