Red Nose Day in Torfaen

In Torfaen, money donated to Comic Relief has helped 11 organisations to the tune of nearly £71,000!

Organisations like:

  • Trac2 – They employed a member of staff as ‘the first point of contact engagement officer’. The Officer is the first person that a client speaks with when they contact them. Helping support with advice, guidance, and financial help.
  • Fairhill Methodist Church – Their aim was to create a community garden that is now being used by groups within the locality.
  • Torfaen People’s First – Started a project called “Safe at Night” which enabled people with a learning disability to live the lives they wanted and do the things they do in the day in the night too.

It’s because of your donations to Red Nose Day, projects like these can provide invaluable support in Torfaen, so thank you!
