WCVA is searching for a new Chair
Wales Council for Voluntary Action is recruiting for a new Chair, after it was announced that Peter Davies will be stepping down from the role after eight years.
The charity, which is the national membership body for voluntary groups and organisations across Wales, is looking for a new leader to help continue the strategic development that Peter has overseen since taking up the post in 2014.
The role of Chair of the board is voluntary, and WCVA is looking for someone who is committed to the third sector, has good communication skills and an understanding of charity governance, amongst other qualities.
WCVA helps to connect volunteers to each other through information, training, guidance and funding, and aims to strengthen voluntary organisations and increase the difference they able to make.
