Torfaen Voluntary Alliance (TVA)

We are the voluntary council for the County Borough of Torfaen (a registered charity and company limited by guarantee). Our role is to support, promote, develop and represent voluntary and community groups in the county. TVA’s objective is to achieve an effective and professional service to the community which is second to none and which will be an example of good practice to the highest standards.

Volunteering

We are linked to a wide variety of organisations that are helped by volunteers, and have over 180 volunteering opportunities on our files. We are constantly seeking to widen the variety of opportunities we can offer so would love to hear from organisations who need volunteers.

Learning and Development

In order to encourage learning we work in partnership with WEA, Coleg Gwent and Adult and Community Education which enables us to offer a variety of courses.
