The Heritage Lottery Fund is providing pre-application information workshops across the UK in preparation for the launch of its new £10 million Kick the Dust grants programme on 23 September. In two weeks, the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) will open its new Kick the Dust grants programme which is intended to support ambitious youth-focused projects that transform how heritage organisations engage with young people (aged 11 to 25 years). Grants of between £500,000 and £1 million for projects that take between three to five years to complete will be available to consortia of three or more organisations, including heritage and youth organisations. A new £8 million annual investment programme to support organisations in the UK to manage their heritage better has been launched by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has opened new £8 million annual investment programme, Resilient Heritage, to support UK based organisations to build their capacity or achieve strategic change in order to improve the management of heritage in the long term. A new grant scheme from the Home Office has been launched for places of worship to help them install additional security measures. The deadline for applications to the Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust’s regional round has been moved from 29 July 2016 to 9 September 2016. The Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust was established through an agreement between the Millennium Stadium plc and the Millennium Commission when the Stadium was built and it aims to improve the quality of life of people who live and work in Wales.
